Privacy

The CCS Range is a browser-based practice and competition environment operated by Alamo Cyber Systems on behalf of the an Air & Space Forces Association (AFA) Program. This page explains what the site stores and what it does not do.

What we store
  • Your account. A team identifier issued by your organizer (for example a season and team number), your password, and which team you belong to. We do not ask you for your name, address, date of birth or any other personal detail, and the site has no self-registration.
  • Activity needed to run the competition. When a practice environment is started, stopped or reset, and by which account.
  • Server logs. Ordinary web-server records, including the IP address your connection comes from, the pages requested and the time. These are used to keep the service running and secure — for example to detect repeated failed sign-in attempts.
Cookies

This site uses two cookies, both strictly necessary, and only after you sign in: one keeps you signed in, and one protects the sign-in form against forged requests. Both are set by this site alone.

There is no tracking, advertising or analytics anywhere on this site, and no third-party services are loaded. We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, session-recording tools or social-media widgets. The connection-test page sets no cookies at all.

What we do not do
  • We do not sell, rent or share your information with advertisers or data brokers.
  • We do not build profiles or track you across other websites.
  • We do not use your information for any purpose other than running and supporting the competition.
Who can see it

Competition staff at the CyberPatriot Program Office can see team accounts and activity, and can reset credentials. Technical staff at Alamo Cyber Systems can access the systems in order to operate and support them. Information may also be disclosed if required by law.

How long we keep it

Accounts and competition activity are retained for the current competition season. Server logs are retained for up to 90 days.

Participants under 18

Accounts are issued by your competition organizer, not created here. Any question about participant eligibility, parental consent, or a request to access or delete a participant's information should go to the CyberPatriot Program Office, who holds the registration records and can identify which team an account belongs to.
